Solidarity changes the world and the allfunds team is part of the change

Xipfundo Pablo Estrada Scholarship

¡Khanimambo, gracias! Nieves y Jaime

Allfunds friends and colleagues,

Last October, a very dear friend of ours, a pilot of the Air and Space Force, Lieutenant Colonel Pablo Estrada, assigned to the 12th Wing (Ala 12) of the Spanish air force, died in a tragic plane crash when he was in command of an F-18 fighter.

After being stationed in the USA and Brussels and returning to Madrid, Pablo, together with his wife Gema, was an unconditional collaborator of the Khanimambo Foundation, with which we also collaborate in a personal capacity and which Allfunds has been supporting for years.

Pablo always defended education as a fundamental pillar to achieve any goal and was enthusiastic about the work of the Foundation, convinced of the impact of providing opportunities to children and young people with scarce resources. Together with Gema, he was always available to support each initiative.

Now Gema, his family and his friends, have just launched through Khanimambo the Xipfundo Pablo Estrada Scholarship in his honor. A tribute to his commitment to education, since this scholarship will allow super responsible, determined and exceptional young people but without economic capacity, to access the university covering all their expenses: tuition, accommodation, books, travel, health insurance and accompaniment.

Allfunds, through its Solidarity Fund, joins this action, inviting all its employees, family and friends to join. And Allfunds will double the amount raised!

The goal? To raise €4,000 for Hafussénio, a persevering student who has been in Khanimambo since he was nine years old, to be a future graduate in mathematics.

Will you help us to achieve the challenge?

Khanimambo, thank you! Nieves y Jaime

Ideas for Fundraising Goals

Individual Fundraising Goals

You can get involved by doing something special for you. You will transform this personal challenge into donations for NGO’s causes.

For example, participate in sports events like a tennis, paddle or golf competitions (among other sports), or do a real effort to demonstrate how important is for you to help an NGO. You can cut your hair, stop watching TV or quit smoking. You can also create original challenges that attract the attention of everyone and be a famous challenger making up funny solidarity challenges like the “Ice Bucket Challenge”.

Celebrating Fundraising Goal

There are a lot of opportunities in you daily life to give to others. For example, you can create a solidarity challenge on your birthday. You can tell your family and friends that this year you don’t want  to receive gifts and instead this can be transformed in donations.

Group Fundraising Goals

You can get donations creating a solidarity goal with your colleagues, your friends or your family. These goals are very impressive because several people come together with the same purpose: to help others.

Some ideas would be organize charity markets, sell  cookies, create a solidarity breakfast, participate together in a sport or cultural competition or make personal challenges that mean something special.
